Hot off the heels of his 2018 release ‘Southside of Heaven’, George’s new single ‘Out Of This Town’ from his forthcoming EP produced by Scott Cooke, was released to all digital platforms on February 22nd and hits radio airwaves March 8th. Canyon rose to becoming one of Canada’s hottest Country Music stars in the early 2000’s and has won countless accolades and awards, including Juno Awards, CCMA Awards, and ECMA Awards to name a few. He has been inducted into the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, recorded 12 albums, and was recently presented a certified Platinum Award for his debut album ‘One Good Friend’. With over 20 Top 10 singles, Doc Walker is one of the most recognized Canadian country acts of the past two decades. The group has received multiple Canadian Country Music Awards, including Fans' Choice, Group or Duo of the Year, CMT Video of the Year, Single of the Year, and Country Music Program or Special of the Year. In addition, Doc Walker has been nominated for several JUNO Awards for Country Album of the Year, including a win in 2009 for the album Beautiful Life. Charlie Major is a true Canadian legend. He has sold nearly half a million records in Canada alone, and has been the recipient of 3 Juno Awards and 7 CCMA Awards. Rising to the forefront of the Canadian Music scene in the early to mid-nineties, Major holds the distinction of having six consecutive #1 hits (every single released) off his debut album prior to the inception of BDS. Canada's Manny Blu made his debut with the release of his first single “X on my Heart” earlier this year. Currently preparing to release his premiere EP Leave It Like It Is in summer 2019, Manny is eagerly awaiting the chance to share his new music with the world. Full-event ticket packages for 2020 Scotties in Moose Jaw on sale Thursday
Hearts and Valentine’s Day go hand-in-hand, but if you’re a curling fan in Saskatchewan, Valentine’s Day and the Tournament of Hearts will be just as natural of a connection.
Full-event ticket packages for the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw will officially go on sale Thursday, Valentine’s Day, at 10 a.m. CT — your first opportunity to ensure you have the same great seat for every draw of the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship, which starts in exactly a year from Thursday and will run Feb. 14-23 at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw.
And recent history would tell us that before you buy flowers or a card for your significant other, you should be going online at curling.ca/tickets, phoning 306-624-2050 or heading to Mosaic Place Box Office to get the best selection of tickets as Moose Jaw has proven that tickets can be hard to come by if you wait too long.
The 2015 Scotties at Mosaic Place was the 11th-best attended in event history, and you can expect the same kind of demand in 2020 as Canada’s best women’s curling teams gather to decide a national champion and gain some early momentum as they pursue their dreams of playing at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Here’s a look at what will be available Thursday:
• Regular Full Event Package ($385)
• Premium Full Event Package ($409): A limited number of premium home-end seats and away-end club seats are available.
All ticket packages are subject to standard facility and ticket service fees. Weekend Packages will go on sale in the fall.
The 2020 Scotties won’t be just about world-class curling; there will also be world-class good times to be held at the legendary HeartStop Lounge, located at the adjacent Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre — fans won’t have to leave the building in order to have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with the athletes, enjoy live music, dancing, drinks and food, as well as interactive activities for the entire family.
Buying tickets through third party resale sites might seem quick and easy, but it can cost you in the long run. You could be putting yourself at risk of hidden fees, higher costs, and incorrect conversion to non-Canadian funds.
The only way to guarantee the best and correct price is to purchase tickets through our Box Office 306.624.2050 or online using ticketrocket.co directly through our website event calendar or page.
Mosaic Place is not responsible for tickets purchased through third party sites, and can not offer refunds, discounts or vouchers for third party issued tickets.
The Moose Jaw Warriors and the DFFH Board of Directors are excited to announce a partnership that will see the two organizations share the $446,313 cost of an upgrade to the boards and glass at Mosaic Place.
“On behalf of our Board of Directors, we are very pleased to make this investment in our community in partnership with Mosaic Place. This new CrystalPlex dasher board system is in the best interest of player safety and will benefit not only our WHL players, but all users of the facility,” stated Warriors General Manager Alan Millar.
“We’d like to thank the DFFH Board and the Mosaic Place staff for their support in this project with our hockey club,” added Millar. “We appreciate the strong working relationship we now have between our two groups.”
“The DFFH Board of Directors would like to thank the Moose Jaw Warriors for sharing in the cost of new boards and glass for Mosaic Place,” commented Bryan Swanson, DFFH Board Chair. “This significant upgrade will enhance player safety and save time and money when converting the ice to a concert venue.”
The new CrystalPlex aluminum dasher board system will enhance the physical safety for players and maximize the game experience for fans. Work is already underway in order to be ready for the 2018 -2019 Western Hockey season.
